The Allegheny Nat'l Forest - The Horse Ranch
The view from our site. We stayed at a great horse ranch where the boys got hands-on experience with some horses!
There is an electric wire going across this pasture. The boys ducked under it and fed the horses apples. Ryan didn't know it was an electric wire and held onto it. He got a little zap - enough to wake him up!
The boys got lessons in horse care and loved it. Alan discovered he went to the same school with the owner of this ranch and had a lot in common. Needless to say he spent many hours gabbing on the front porch about cars, parts, property, marketing, etc...
