The Boys on Atlanta

Aaron on Atlanta

We got into Atlanta. All I could see were these old brick buildings made of red bricks and grey bricks, some of the buildings were abandoned and rundown. But then it was like going into a different world there were these huge cranes holding up a bunch of building equipment. But my most favorite part was the giant chess game that was out on the street, the pieces were huge, up to the middle of my thigh. And the pieces were heavy because they were filled with water. Ryan and I played it. It was fun.

We got into Atlanta and it was pouring  rain. The first  thing I saw was the Olympics rings, and then there were a ton of old buildings that looked awesome and some of them looked like they were going to fall over. We also got into this place called Buckhead and the houses there are like castles they were huge and they all had bridges to them.  Then we went to a really good restaurant  called The Collonade  everything was fried -  like everything.  Ryan

It really as pouring rain as we entered Atlanta.  You could hardly see out the window.

Ryan's first view of Atlanta.

House in Buckhead.  This doesn't give the grand scale of the property.  Our camera didn't have a wide enough angle to capture it from the street.

Another Buckhead house...

And another.  Ryan was taking these pictures and he couldn't get enough of them.  Truly we've never seen properties like these - not even in Beverly Hills.  Each property was set back in  a woodsy area with acres around it.

Tara had fried chicken, lady peas, pickled beats, and rhutabaga with dinner.  It was sooo delicious!

Enjoying Aaron's birthday dinner at the Collonade.
